Longines 7042
Details
Stainless steel double compressor diving watch by Longines, made in the very end of the 1950’s. 7042 is the first reference, a true unicorn almost never on sale, with radium dial and hands.
Apart from the radium, there are slight differences with the following versions, like the rotating inner bezel with 4 dots between 10 and 15, and the luminous round dots at 12, 3, 6, 9, instead of the tritium lines that were adopted later on.
Overall Condition:
The watch is in beautiful conditions, the case appears to be unpolished. It is indeed a spectacular watch with a warm patina on hands and indexes.
The watch comes with an ultra rare Bambi bracelet and a Longines extract of the Archives.
