Longines diver ref. 7150-1

Details

Stainless steel super compressor Piquerez case diving watch by Longines. Let’s call it “Legend diver”, one of the most beautiful among the big super compressor watches of that time: Universal Polerouter sub, Vetta Escafandra, Enicar Super Dive or Ultradive…

This example was invoiced on 30 June 1964 to the company Ostersetzer, the italian Longines agent at that time.

Overall Condition:

The watch is in breathtaking conditions. Case looks unpolished, lugs have sharp angles. The backcase reveals an assiduous wearing but the frogman is still “crispy”. The dial is the main attraction of this 7150, it has turned “tropical” or chocolate in a homogeneous way and the indexes and numbers have assumed a golden tonality. And all of these change depending on the light over the watch, on its inclination and strength, on its nature too of course. The best being the sunlight, what a surprise. (see pic) Otherwise the dial can look dark brown, almost black.

Dimensions:

42mm excluding crowns.

Movement:

self-winding cal. 290
