Croton Nivada Grenchen Chronograph Aviator Sea Diver
Stainless steel case approximately 38mm wide (excluding crown) rare chronograph by Nivada with double logo (Croton being their brand name for US market at the time, when it was curiously established that Nivada sounded a bit too much like Movado!) This watch is the early CASD, with the Chronograph appellation instead of the successive Chronomaster. It has then the Venus 210 movement and radium dial.
Note that the dial is also particular with the aligned Ns.
The watch is in outstanding conditions. The case might have been lightly polished in the past but the chamfers are still visible on the lugs. The caseback is very well conserved. But the main point here are the breathtaking dial and hands. The radium has developped a breathtaking shiny brown patina. The dial is mint aswell as the bezel.
38mm excluding crown.
Venus 210 manual winding working fine.
