Hanhart WWII Flieger Chronograph
Rare WWII german pilot chronograph, assymetric pushers, the bottom red pusher is famous for a Hanhart’s legend/story: the girlfriend of a pilot put her red nail varnish on her man’s watch so that he wouldn’t forget her, then they maybe thought that it was a good point for quick readability of the tool and adopted the system for the next models.
The watch is great conditions for its age and works quite well. Amazing radium filling in the cathedral hands and arabic numbers, little “gold” dust spread onto the step dial. Also the beautiful long and thin second hand is original. The writings are all 100% legible and conserved.
The bund strap is modern.
41mm without big crown, 11mm height.
Hanhart manual winding.
