so called Baby Panerai because of the similarity of the cushion shape case, in the the 1960’s, together with the Sandoz, the first one issued, and the Vetta 1000, the Nivada Depthmaster was the most desirable and well designed of these diving watches. Nivada claimed it was the strongest watch at that time, made out of Sweedish steel and water resistant up to 1000 meters.
Overall Condition:
The watch is in very good condition over all, the case bears signs of use, so does the caseback but the writings there are still legible. The watch has a really breathtaking presence on the wrist, with its beautiful patina on dial, hands and indexes and the red second hand recalls the 1000 writing. The watch comes with an original vintage Swiss Tropic 18mm strap on its original screw fixed lugs.
Of course, due to its age, this vintage diver is part of the not2dive lot!
